Inside the Campus: December 2025

The Department of Pharmacy at Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) concluded Pharma Next 2.0, hosted by the 40th Batch. The event successfully fostered academic spirit through competitive segments like the Pharma Olympiad, Poster Presentation, and Public Speaking Competition, following an energetic opening with the Grand Farewell and Flashmob Carnival. The department thanks all participants, faculty, and attendees for making the segments a success amidst the somber circumstances.

In observance of a national day of mourning following the tragic passing of Mr. Osman Hadi, the scheduled concert was respectfully canceled.



North South University Pharmaceutical Club (NSUPC) successfully arranged Pharma Camp 2025 at Chorbhobanipur. The camp provided basic medical services, including blood pressure measurement, blood glucose testing, temperature checks, and general health screening for residents of four nearby villages. Two doctors accompanied the team to ensure proper medical care and consultation, while essential medicines were distributed with the generous support of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd.


On 14 December 2025, UIU Pharma Club successfully hosted the seminar “Study Without Border”, a highly informative session focused on exploring opportunities for higher education abroad. The seminar provided comprehensive insights into international admission pathways, scholarship and funding opportunities, essential document preparation, and the realities of life as an international student. The session was both informative and engaging, allowing participants to gain practical knowledge through clear guidance and real-life experiences.


Healthcare Chemicals Ltd. has signed a first-time partnership agreement with the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka, aiming to strengthen research, pharmacy education, and knowledge exchange. The collaboration is expected to support national efforts toward developing a local API industry and reducing dependence on imported pharmaceutical raw materials through industry–academia cooperation.


Bangladesh University Pharmacy Alumni Association successfully organized a comprehensive full-day academic and professional program on Friday, December 12, 2025, comprising a strategic career development seminar followed by the formal inauguration of the New Executive Committee of BUPAA for the tenure 2025–2028. The program was facilitated by the Department of Pharmacy, Bangladesh University and held at the Auditorium Hall, Bangladesh University. The first session of the program featured a high-impact seminar titled “Navigating Pharmacy Career Opportunities”, designed to equip pharmacy students and early-career professionals with a clear, future-oriented professional roadmap. In the second session the New Executive Committee of Bangladesh University Pharmacy Alumni Association (BUPAA) for the tenure of 2025–2028 was formally declared and introduced to the audience.
